Although the Pirelli tires are capable, they came in last on the dry track testing. On average, the Pirellis were 0.6 seconds slower per lap, and they required an additional 6 feet of braking distance compared to the leader Hankook.

Wet track

The performance of the Pirelli P4 Four Seasons Plus Tires was significantly lower than the other tires on wet surfaces. The Pirelli tires took 4 seconds longer to complete a lap and needed an additional 35 feet to come to a complete stop. 

The drivers noted that it took gentle corrections to avoid overstepping the tires’ abilities. The results of this test are contradicted by customer reviews that say that the Pirelli P4 Four Seasons Plus Tires handle well on wet surfaces.

Winter conditions

However, the longer you drive on and wear the tread, the indicators become visible. As soon as these indicators are flush with the tire tread, it is time to get your tires replaced.
